1988 Computer Science Conference
The 1988 Computer Science Conference, co-chaired by Lucio Chiaraviglio and Fred Massey, was held in Atlanta, Georgia, February 23-25, 1988. The conference was very successful, with a reported attendance of over 1700. The Program Committee for CSC '88 arranged an excellent program with the focus being on software: the challenge of the future. Twelve technical panels were held addressing topics in computer science computing, windowing systems, AI, software quality, software risk and liability, architectures, language standards, programming support, information systems, consortia, modeling, simulation and accreditation.
Council, by acclamation, thanked Lucio Chiaraviglio and Fred Massey, Co-chairs, of CSC '88, and their Committee, for their fine work on behalf of the ACM 1988 Computer Science Conference.
