Brunei: Bureau launches 6 local books.

Six books published by the Language and Literature Bureau were launched yesterday by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Hussein.

The event took place at the Balai Sarmayuda, Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas.

Dato Paduka Haji Alidin Haji Othman, Director of Language and Literature Bureau said "The efforts to increase the production and improve the publication of books in Bahasa Melayu could be considered as a means to widespread knowledge and encourage the reading culture in the society."
