Marshall reeling in deals with Ameribass

David Marshall knows a good deal when he sees one.

So when Marshall, as president of Ameribass Real Estate Co., had a chance to buy out the company's real estate and go out on his own, he didn't pass it up.

After all, with holdings of about $1 billion in developed real estate and land and a knack for winning big where others had failed, Ameribass was one of the largest, and most successful, real estate companies in Philadelphia.

And to strike the deal and launch his own firm would make Marshall the sole lead investor in a company with plenty of experience, sizable clout and a substantial running start. …
