Big sponsors, big advertising budgets and big hotel and restaurant getaway packages have bundled themselves around the upcoming "Van Gogh: Face to Face" exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
But, Cezanne fans, this ain't no blockbuster.
The museum's 1996 hit, the Cezanne exhibition drew more than 700,000 museum-goers and injected Philadelphia's hotels, shops and restaurants with a healthy $122 million in economic impact, according to an Art Museum study.
About 300,000 are expected to view "Face to Face" (Oct. 22-Jan. 14), an intimate show of the Dutch master's portraits only, about 80 pieces total.
