Shriners Hospital lost, but kids have gained from Chuck Williams' departure from Pill Hill.

The former public relations director will return soon to teach classes in his new role as regional director of Kids for a Drug-Free Society. The organization teaches free 10-hour courses to parents about talking to their kids about drugs, alcohol, tobacco and other risky behaviors.

What's different is that Kids goes into the workplace to talk to parents. PGE was the first to invite Williams in and gave employees incentives to go to class, including arranging for the class to take place on paid time and helping with child care for those attending an evening class. …
