US service company Fluor Daniel is carrying out feasibility studies for BP of potential crude export routes from the Azeri capital Baku to Georgia's Supsa and the Iranian city of Tabriz. The news suggests that BP -- the AIOC consortium's leading company -- despite paying lip-service to the idea of Baku-Ceyhan as a main export pipeline (MEP), continues to view multiple export routes as the best way of handling future output.
