Why hold a discussion meeting with employees?
Because employees like meetings as a way of getting information. The spoken word always is more effective than the written word. And employees like the chance to get the story straight from the horse's mouth.
Because informal group meetings are an excellent way for you to build participation in your department. It gives you a chance to explain the reasons behind some of the nursing home's actions. It gives employees a chance to ask questions that are bothering them and a chance to contribute to the solution of the home's problems.
