Bothell-based Digital.Forest, a database and application hosting company, has landed nearly $900,000 in angel financing.

The company was founded in 1994 by Chris Kilbourn, a former computer science professor at the University of Washington.

The money will be used to finance marketing efforts, as well as grow the company from 17 employees to about 25 by the end of year, Kilbourn said.
