(12212 Technology Blvd., Austin, TX 78727; Tel: 512/219-8020 or 888/219-8020, Fax: 512/258-4173, Website: www.luminexcorp.com) introduced its high throughput screening (HTS) system for drug discovery at the Society for BioMolecular Screening Conference in Vancouver, Canada. The Luminex HTS, which is based on Luminex's LabMAP technology, is designed to perform up to 400,000 individual bioassays per day. The LabMAP system is an open-architecture, multi-analyte technology platform for pharmaceutical drug discovery, clinical diagnostics, and biomedical research, including the genomics and proteomics research markets.
