Universities asked to offer real estate dev't courses.

The National Real Estate Association (NREA) is asking universities to offer a real estate development course to professionalize the property industry.

NREA vice-president for external affairs Marcelo E. de la Cruz told BusinessWorld in an interview that the association wants universities to offer real estate development courses because many of those engaged in the property industry today have very limited knowledge about the sector.

NREA is a national association of over 2,000 property developers, brokers and others engaged in the real estate industry.
