Amendment 24, the Citizen Management of Growth initiative, is one of many constitutional amendments that will be put before Colorado voters on Nov. 7.
Sponsored by Coloradans for Responsible Growth, and officially filed by Elise Jones of the Colorado Environmental Coalition and nature photographer John Fielder, the amendment would allow development only in areas designated as "committed areas" or "designated growth areas."
