C.D. Howe Institute names first CBA Scholar.(Canadian Bankers' Association)(Brief Article)

The C.D. Howe Institute has appointed David Laidler, one of Canada's leading experts in monetary policy, to the newly created position of Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) Scholar.

As CBA Scholar, Prof. Laidler will examine issues in the areas of monetary and fiscal policy that the institute believes will have a significant impact on Canada's competitiveness in a world of rapid technological change and globalization.

The new position was made possible through the support of the CBA.
