Name recognition reason given for $70 million deal

With the naming-rights deal for Kiel Center, the Savvis name will be heard and seen constantly for the next 20 years -- and it won't cost Savvis a any cash for the first six years.

Savvis Communications signed a deal with Blues owners Bill and Nancy Laurie that turned Kiel Center into Savvis Center for $70 million in cash and Savvis stock.

Savvis Chief Executive Rob McCormick wouldn't give the cash-stock breakdown. But, he said, for the first six years, Savvis will pay stock only.
