Rembrandt Diversity House has launched a web site to highlight the disparity in health care for ethnic groups.

Founder Sandra Rembrandt said the playing field needs to be leveled so everyone gets equal health care, regardless of race, gender or personal beliefs.

"Yes, racism is very alive in the medical field in everything that we do, unfortunately," she said.

Rembrandt, who is black and suffers from asthma and lupus, recently noticed the, way some nurses and physician office staff members treated her.

"When I went to one particular foot doctor, every time I went there, his nurse gave me a hard time," she said. She would accuse Rembrandt …
