Impoverished North Korea is host to two casinos which bring with them a hedonistic lifestyle, a radical contrast to the Hermit Kingdom's unswerving commitment to austere Communism. The Emperor Group of Hong Kong, with diverse interests in property, finance and entertainment, is to officially open its HK$-500 million hotel and casino in North Korea on 17 October.
