Oracle's concern with Internet-based development is reflected in two Oracle 8i-related announcements: Oracle Internet Developer Suite and Oracle Internet Application Server8i (Oracle iAS).The Developer Suite includes a Java development environment, a portal development tool, a web-based report builder and a web-based OLAP query tool. The application server provides middleware functionality, supporting the use of EJBs, dynamic data caching and forms and portal services.
