A new Nashville, Tenn., health-care media company bought San Francisco-based magazine publisher Healthcare Business Media Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

HealthLeaders Inc. of Nashville, formed in June of this year, operates an Internet-based health care content web site, healthleaders.com. Its founders include members of the First family, who formerly ran hospital giant HCA.
