Gemelli gets Roger Rabbit license HIALEAH, Fla. -- Gemelli Inc., here, has acquired the license for Roger Rabbit thongs and beach shoes for children, according to Todd Leoni, vice president of the firm.

The company obtained the license two months ago, and Leoni said Gemelli has already sold 25,000 pairs, and intends to do a very big business. He said the firm has gotten many calls about the shoes and plans to sell at least a million pairs in the next six months.

The thongs will be sold for a first-cost price of $1.70 and a landed wholesale price of $3.50, and will be sold to specialty and department stores, Leoni …
