After selling his successful publishing business, David Baetz and his wife Suzanne looked at 15 different properties around the country for a resort setting in which to begin their new life. After touring resorts in Oregon, Virginia, Florida, the Carolinas and California, they found what they were looking for less than one hour from their Webster Groves home of 25 years.

"We were looking for a place with a natural feel where we could build on water and still enjoy the services of a major metropolitan area. We found that at Innsbrook," David said.
