Everyone knows politics is big business. Just look at the list of entities that have contributed $1 million or more in cash, services or goods to the 2000 Republican National Convention:

AT&T, Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, Bell Atlantic, the City of Philadelphia, Comcast the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Delaware River Port Authority, General Motors, Motorola and Peco Energy, according to Philadelphia 2000.
