THE REJUVENATION of the newspaper market is continuing. Along with feverish activity on the Internet front, where vendors are scrambling to get up to speed on the publishing of editorial content as well as the handling of online classified ads, there are interesting developments in other areas, as this update will demonstrate.

In large part, this is our report covering newspaper-related activity at Drupa and Nexpo. However, because it has been delayed considerably while we address the rest of the Drupa developments (see Vol. 29, Nos. 14, 15-16 and 17), we have taken this opportunity to provide updates from many of these companies since Nexpo (June 17-20).
