Quark announces new content management venture - But little revealed at NetMidas launch.(Company Operations)

The latest vendor to throw its hat into the content-mangement ring is Quark, which announced last month the launch of a new company, NetMidas LLC, which will develop and distribute Web site-management software aimed at high-end clients. Though details of its exact relationship to Quark remain undisclosed, the intent is for NetMidas to operate a completely separate company.

NetMidas' first product, expected to be announced later this month, will be SiteMidas, a database-driven site maintenance system that includes asset management, workflow and administration modules.
