The Bon March[acute{e}] will greet back-to-school shoppers with a new private label of children's clothing called Greendog.

Greendog merchandise was introduced at The Bon's 42 stores in July. The official launch, backed by an advertising campaign and in-store promotions, will take place in August.

The Bon hopes the Greendog brand will boost sales for the Seattle-based chain, which has faced stiffer competition from Gap Inc.'s Old Navy division. The Greendog line will cover a wide size range, from infants to preteen.
