Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (777 Old Saw Mill River Rd., Tarrytown, NY 10591; Tel: 914/789-2800, Fax: 914/789-2817) reported that the investigational drugs PRO 542 and T-20 demonstrated significantly enhanced anti-HIV activity when used in combination in vitro. The findings were presented at the XIII International AIDS Conference in Durban, South Africa. Progenics is developing PRO 542, and Trimeris, Inc. (4727 University Dr., Suite 100, Durham, NC 27707; Tel: 919/419-6050, Fax: 919/419-1816) and its partner F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Ltd. are developing T-20.
