Krispy Kreme buys land on County Line

Denverites eagerly awaiting Krispy Kreme's tasty treats will be warmed to know the doughnut franchise bought a $2 million plot of land at Quebec Street and County Line Road near Park Meadows mall and plans to open its first Colorado store by December.

Lawrence Jaro, who holds the Colorado franchise for Kirispy Kreme, said the company bought the location because it's close to many offices in the Denver Tech Center, the Park Meadows mall and C-470.

"We picked it because. it's in a great part of town," Jaro said.

He said the location is in a highly populated area and its close proximity to C-470 and I-25 …
