India: Ravi Jain to add fizz to UB.

BANGALORE, July 27. MR. Ravi Jain, who crossed over to the Vijay Mallya camp from the Manu Chhabria-controlled Shaw Wallace, has emerged as the kingpin in UB group's immediate big plans for the domestic beer market.

Mr. Jain now heads Millennium Alcobev Ltd, a UB group beer subsidiary, as its Vice-Chairman and Managing Director. In about ten days from now, the UB group is expected to finalise MABL's equity and operational structure.

The UB group, which earlier announced plans to give Mr. Jain 26 per cent stake in MABL, will now consider increasing it based on his contribution to the company.
