11 Trinamul supporters killed in Birbhum clash.

SUCHPUR (BIRBHUM), July 27. - This village, under Nanoor PS, became a bloody mirror-image of Kespur today when 11 persons were killed in an early morning clash between Trinamul and CPI-M supporters. The dead were Trinamul supporters - all fairly young.

Ten of the victims died on the spot; another died soon after being taken to hospital. The bodies have been sent to the Bolpur sub-divisional hospital for post-mortem. Twenty-one persons have been arrested. Mr Suryakanta Mishra, state land and land reforms minister, has left for Suchpur to find out what led to the massacre.
