Hardier than most, impatiens offer color and variety

Even though the gardening world seems to be overgrown with impatiens, it's still my favorite plant. It does extremely well in my garden among the various perennials that have short bloom times, not to mention the endless varieties of colors and species to choose from and its notable hardiness.

The impatiens fill the flowering beds with a myriad of color and variation. Their soft, wispy leaves and shapes are an excellent choice to enhance any spot in the garden--they seem to thrive in all types of conditions.
