Huber, Hunt & Nichols Inc. has been selected as program manager and general contractor for the construction of the new Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Renovation and new construction of the former Phoenix Regional Medical Center at 20th Street and Thomas Road is scheduled to begin June 1. Scheduled to be completed in October 2001, it is budgeted for $55.4 million in construction costs.

Architects are Karlsberger of Columbus, Ohio, and The Stein-Cox Group of Phoenix.
