PENANG, June 29 (Bernama) -- The Penang Legislative Assembly today passed two bills both relating to the impending appointment of a Deputy Speaker, one of which sought to set aside a special allocation for the position.
They are the Pulau Pinang State Constitution (Amendment) Bill 2000 and the Members of the Administration and Legislative Assembly (Remuneration) (Amendment) Bill 2000.
