United Airlines, responding to chronic complaints about its air service between Denver and Aspen, especially those resulting from bad weather, said comprehensive operational changes implemented last season have dramatically improved the situation.

Results of the company's improvement plan were shared with Aspen Skiing corporation executives and other resort representatives last week.

"Despite the complexity of the operational challenges that we face in Aspen, such as high altitude, limited runway length and unpredictable weather, the changes we implemented allowed us to provide our customers with a more reliable product," said Roger Gibson, United Airlines' …
