KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 (Bernama) -- Share prices on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) opened slightly higher this morning but slipped thereafter due to the lack of follow-through buying, a dealer said.

He added that the rebound yesterday was technical and did not last into today as expected as it was not accompanied by strong volume. Furthermore, retail players were more interested in securing quick gains.

At 9:35 am, the CI lost 7.34 points to 827.85, the Emas Index dropped 1.66 points to 206.48 and the Second Board Index lost 0.31 of a point to 211.93.

The Finance Index fell 20.01 points to 6,638.6 and the Industrial Index …
