When Digital Matrix receives requests from customers for StamperForming equipment refinements it listens and its latest product is testimony to this fact.
With continuing industry trends focused on higher productivity and smaller factory space, the firm continued its modifications resulting in a more friendly, ergonomic design of the SA2m series. Company engineers responded to the requests and the first unit has been shipped to Japan.
Receiving compliments at its first appearance at the Optical Disc Production 2000 Show (DISKCON) in Tokyo, the new SA2ms has a reduced height from 80" to 72", putting monitors and controls to a lower level, and improving front access for maintenance. Computer controls were moved to a side-by-side rack, which can support 2, 3 or 4 cell units.
Over the years, many Digital Matrix products have evolved from customer requests. In meeting those user requests, StamperForming products have become a popular global electroforming solution with leading mastering firms.
