Codina Group of Coral Gables has snapped up the last large slice of commercial land in Weston and plans to develop office, industrial and retail on the site.

Codina quietly signed a deal earlier this year to buy the 60-acre tract on Weston Road, once slated to house the Cleveland Clinic medical campus.

The well-known clinic is currently building a 150-bed hospital about a mile away on Weston Road just south of Arvida Parkway in a joint venture with Tenet Healthcare Corp.
