Ferret and frogs help Goodby, Silverstein catch Clio Awards.(Brief Article)

Kudos to the San Francisco shops that recently won a covey of coveted Clio Awards in advertising and design.

No surprise that Goodby, Silverstein & Partners won the bellringer nod for the most awards -- nine in all -- of any local shop. Most of Goodby's recognition, including one gold award, went to its radio and television work for Budweiser featuring the talking frogs and the famously indecipherable ferret. Goodby also won a bronze award for its Nike print work, and a bronze for an E-Trade television promotion.

The Academy of Art College, which won five awards, including two golds, did hilarious television takes on Brita and Starbucks; thoughtful print work …
