Six-year-old company changes name to Veratage

WEXFORD -- Chuck Weintraub saw a need for change at his firm, CRS Inc., an information technology consulting operation.

Others in the same industry have shifted gears. Mastech corp. reinvented itself as iGATE Capital Corp., a holding company for multiple e-commerce businesses. UBICS Inc., another IT firm, created UBInteractive, a division to focus on e-commerce development.

But when Mr. Weintraub decided to reinvent CRS, he skipped over e-commerce, choosing to concentrate on business intelligence and data warehousing.
