THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, May 30: TERUMO Penpol, a joint venture of the $1.2-billion Terumo Corporation of Japan, a major in healthcare products, and the Kerala-based Penpol, a leader in blood bag production in the country, has readied its upgraded and modern disposable blood bags facility here for commissioning.

Infusion of the renowned Terumo technology will help the plant manufacture eight million disposable blood bags annually.
