Ferris, Baker Watts Inc. lost one of its most powerful and highest-producing brokers to Salomon Smith Barney last week.

Marry Zolet, one of four partners in the Westheimer group at Ferris, Baker Watts (www.fbw.com), left the firm on April 28 for the Lutherville office of Salomon Smith Barney (www.smithbarney.com). The Westheimer group is the partnership run by Julius "Westy" Westheimer, the high-profile stock broker who offers up investment wisdom on WBAL-TV and radio and Wall Street Week. The group manages more than $600 million in client assets.
