Thomas Puckett office closure benefits HMI Direct.(Brief Article)(Statistical Data Included)
The Phoenix office of Las Vegas-based Thomas Puckett Advertising has closed, but its four employees have found jobs with a direct-marketing company.
HMI Direct in Tempe has hired the staffers, a move that allows the business to offer print, radio and television advertising services to its 200 clients. The agency is changing its name to HMI Marketing & Advertising.
David Ralls, vice president of HMI, said it's good news for his customers, which include Petsmart, Bank One and McMurry Publishing Inc.
"The ability to offer more of a one-stop shop rather than just the direct-mail portion is a benefit to them," he said.
