The first public WCDMA call in The Netherlands has been made through a joint project by Nokia and KPN Research.
The call was made by KPN Research in the Nokia 3G Demonstration Centre - Nokia's prototype EasyGuide service that provides a map of the caller's surrounding area, using Nokia's live experimental test network.
