KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) -- The defence ties between Malaysia and India are set to scale new heights, with India keen on joint ventures with the Malaysian defence industries.

It also intend to sell its indigenous defence equipment and transfer military technology to Malaysia, India's Minister of State for Defence (Production and Supplies) Harin Pathak said.

He said such cooperation was possible as the two countries had the basic infrastructures to absorb the technology and develop their own defence industries.

He hoped both countries would further identify areas of cooperation and progress in the defence related Research and Development …
