The battle for military supremacy on the Web is under way, and Seattle-based CentralHQ.com is ready to deploy.
This week CentralHQ.com will debut the first of a series of Web portals targeting the individual branches of the military: the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. Its first site, ArmyHQ.com, offers news, information, entertainment and services such as online bill-paying and e-mail.
The firm, which is a subsidiary of Advanced Interactive Services Inc. of Tukwila, also plans to eventually launch sites aimed at police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and federal law enforcement officers.
