Miami-Dade County developer Manuel Medina has always thought big.

First it was the tallest building in Coconut Grove, Terremark Centre, named after Medina's 18-year-old Terremark Holdings. Then the tallest building in the state: The Four Seasons Hotel and Tower, now going up along Brickell Avenue.

But his latest undertaking might be the biggest of them all: Blue Lake Corporate Center in Boca Raton.

Medina announced March 9 that he has cut a deal to buy T-Rex Developers, the partnership that has Blue Lake under contract, and is on a mission to buy other facilities nationwide that lend themselves to housing telecommunications, Internet and e-commerce …
