TAKAFUL INDONESIA LAUNCES MARKETING NETWORK.
JAKARTA, April 12 (Bernama) -- Indonesia's first syariah insurance firm, Syarikat Takaful Indonesia, has launched a new marketing system which emphasises on wider networking to increase its earnings, said its president, Drs Iwa Sewakaang, today.
Known as Takaful Networking, the company was eyeing a premium income of Rp3.5 trillion (RM1.6 billion) by 2004.
Through this system, Takaful Indonesia would increase the number of its authorised takaful agencies (ATAs), Drs Iwa said.
With the new system, there would be 50 underwriting offices and 14,700 ATAs throughout Indonesia.
