The Lopez Memorial Museum turns 40 this year, and its library is all set to become the most comprehensive collection of books and periodicals on Philippine history, culture and the arts.
Dr. Serafin Quiason, museum library consultant and former director of the National Library, says he and the museum staff seize every opportunity to build up the Museum's core collection consisting of rare books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, microfilms, photographs and maps.
