The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is "on the one-yard line" in terms of finalizing a deal that could bring $14 million to the Alamo City, according to John P. Howe III M.D., president of the Health Science Center.
If approved, the Health Science Center would receive $14 million in chronic-disease management funding from the Department of Defense for the purpose of studying congestive heart failure.
