The American Vacuum Society (AVS, 120 Wall St., New York, NY 10005, Tel: 212/248-0200, Fax: 212/248-0245) announced a Call for Papers for its 47th International Symposium, being held October 2-6, 2000, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Abstracts may be submitted via email (Email: avs2000@vacuum.org) or through their website (Website: www.vaccum.org) by May 8, 2000. Abstracts may also be submitted by mail/fax.
