At Drupa in May, EFI will enter the cluster printer market with the debut of the Velocity Suite product family. The Velocity Suite consists of these main modules:

* Velocity Balance, a load-balancing routine that calculates the output device to which a job is to be sent based on the type and size of the job as well as the current load in the system.

* Velocity Split, a means of dividing jobs into smaller portions based on content, such as automatically splitting documents to route color pages to a color engine and monochrome pages to a monochrome engine.
