TAIYO YUDEN TO INVEST ANOTHER RM380 MILLION IN SARAWAK.

KUCHING, March 29 (Bernama) -- Taiyo Yuden, a Japanese company producing electronic ceramic chips capacitor, will invest another RM380 to build three more factories under its expansion programme in Sarawak.

Minister for Industrial Development, Datuk Abang Johari Openg said today besides that the company also planned to set up its research and development (R&D) centre here in its effort to use more local materials.

He said with the new investment and the RM370 million that has been invested, Taiyo Yuden total ventures in Sarawak would be around RM750 million.

"This is the sign of investors' confidence in Sarawak especially our stability and business …
