ACCOUNTING

Adam Magill, Lisa Tillman and Leigh Harwell earned promotions at the Clearwater certified public accounting firm Lewis Birch & Ricardo PA. Magill and Tillman are litigation financial analysts and Harwell is a litigation staff accountant Vera A. Hamilton, Karen L. Price and Christine Newkirk Zettle joined the Tampa certified accounting firm Pender Newkirk & Company CPA. Hamilton supervises the computer services department. Price and Zettle are CPA partners. Zettle is responsible for audit and accounting services, including SEC filings, income and estate tax planning, and consulting to individuals, corporations and partnerships. Price is responsible for all phases of tax planning and compliance for publicly held corporations and closely held businesses and their owners.

BANKING

Mark Hvozdovich joined Bay Cities Bank in Tampa as vice president and commercial lender, focusing on commercial real estate and small business lending.

Lauren L. Emerson was promoted to senior vice president of SunTrust Bank, Nature Coast in Brooksville. She joined SunTrust in 1999 and has 22 years of banking experience.

CONSTRUCTION

Randy Zulager was promoted to senior product manager of Celotex Corp. in Tampa, a manufacturer of commercial and residential building products. He joined the firm in 1994 as a sales representative and serves as product promotion specialist. He is responsible for the development and promotion of rigid foam insulation and premium asphalt shingle products.

DEVELOPMENT

Jim Ackerman joined the Sembler Co. in St. Petersburg as real estate manager. He will assist the president of development in the shopping center division.
